(Description from their Facebook event page) Flourish is an exciting new urban wellbeing festival that is being organised by New Wellbeing, the small business behind the successful Street Food Affair events. The Flourish Festival will be held at the Ruskin Art Centre, Stourbridge and outside in their beautiful courtyard. The festival is being held on a Sunday and provides a great opportunity to take a break from your busy life, learn more about wellbeing and experience taster sessions such as yoga, mindfulness and the creative arts. Confirmed speakers include: Duncan Fraser, Director of Useful and Kind Unlimited who will explore how we can be useful and kind to ourselves, others and the world, why we are programmed to be prosocial and what can get in the way. Our second keynote speaker is Sharon Bull, an inspiring speaker, writer and poet will share how after years of depression and a shopping addiction led her to lose everything, she is now helping others to transform their lives. In addition there will be a Wellbeing Marketplace, Friendly Neighbourhood Cinema and a range of healthy street food traders. Please get in touch if you are a business or service who would like a stall in the Wellbeing Marketplace, to provide food, to offer tasters or demonstrations or be one of the Wellbeing speakers. We are also looking for volunteers to be ‘Flourish Hosts’ on the day who will get free admission to the festival.
See you there.
